Steward Your Gifts

Steward Your Gifts Like They’re Not Yours

A devotional for the woman who understands her talents are on assignment

Scripture

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.'” – Matthew 25:23
Today’s Truth

God didn’t give you your gifts FOR you.
He gave them THROUGH you. For the people who need what only you can deliver. For the businesses that need your specific skill set. For the women watching you build who need to see it’s possible. For the generations coming after you who will inherit what you create.
Your strategic mind? Not just for your benefit. Your ability to see opportunity where others see obstacles? Not just for your success. Your gift of teaching and simplifying complex ideas? Not just for your income. Your resilience, your story, your voice? Not just for YOUR healing.
They’re on ASSIGNMENT.
And here’s the terrifying truth from the parable of the talents: the servant who buried his gift because he was afraid – he lost it. God took what he had and gave it to the one who USED what he was given. Because unused gifts are wasted assignments.
Every time you play small with your gifts, you’re not being humble. You’re being an unfaithful steward. Every time you hide your talent because you’re scared of what people will think, you’re burying what God meant to multiply. Every time you undercharge, underperform, or under-deliver on what you’re capable of, you’re shortchanging the people who were meant to benefit from your best.
Faithful with little – trusted with much. That’s the principle. And it works every single time.

Your Moment

Today, audit your gifts. Are you fully using what God gave you? Are you operating at your capacity or staying safely below it? Are you multiplying your talents or burying them?
Show up at full capacity today. In your business. In your content. In your relationships. In your work. Give your BEST, not your comfortable.
Because “well done, good and faithful servant” isn’t reserved for perfect people. It’s reserved for people who took what God gave them and did something WITH it.
That’s you. Now go do something WITH it.

Prayer

God, forgive me for the times I’ve buried the gifts You gave me. Help me steward every talent, skill, opportunity, and resource You’ve entrusted to me with excellence and intentionality. Remind me that my gifts aren’t mine to hoard – they’re Yours to multiply through me. Let me show up at full capacity, give my best, and hear “well done” when I stand before You. I’m taking what You gave me and doing something with it. Watch what we build together. Amen.
Your gifts aren’t yours to bury. They’re God’s to multiply through you. Use them fully.
